JG electric guitar 2 pick up made in USA circa19 redburst double cutaway amp hollow body tremolo tailpiece This is a JG guitar made around 1965 by Italian accordion manufacturer, Juilo Giulietti, when rock and roll and the demand for electric guitars took off in the mid 1960's. It is a beautiful, fully bound, hollow body, two single coil pickup, bolt-on neck instrument with a redburst finish. It features a fully adjustable bridge, a tremolo tailpiece, two bound f-holes and a black, floating pickguard. There have been some modifications to the tuning machines and the pickups; however, this guitar is in good condition and ready to play a myriad of styles. The action is fast and the neck feels fantastic in your hand. In addition, this JG simply sounds wonderful. Get this guitar while you can. Don't miss out!

This guitar is in good condition. It has a beautiful redburst finish and the whole guitar is fully bound. The body has 2 ply binding. There is some slight wear in the back of the neck but that does not effect its playability at all. There are a few dings to the body from years of use. Some parts such as the tuning machines and the pickups have been replaced, but it still maintains the look, feel and sound of a classic guitar.

Closed back, individual tuners with metal buttons. The tuners, which are replacements, are very smooth and in very good working order.

Bolt-on, straight, bound, neck with dot inlays on a rosewood fretboard, 21 frets, and 24.75" scale. Frets are in good condition and the action is fast. The back of the neck has some very minimal playing wear in the middle but that does not effect its playability. The headstock is in fine condition with only one small, minor spot of wear at the edge. A truss rod keeps the neck straight and adjustable.

Two single coil, gold colored metal pickups with adjustable poles pieces and white plastic surrounds. The neck pickup has a clean, mellow, jazzy, round, warm tone perfect for jazz, funk, rock and chord melody, voice leading styles. The bridge pickup has a more twangy feel good for rockabilly, funk and country. Using the combination of pickups and tone knobs gives you a wide variety of musical tones from which to choose. There are four pots: one tone and one volume for each pickup. The toggle switch allows you to select the neck, bridge or both pickups.
