DANELECTRO HAND VIBRATO 4021
circa 1964

Danelectro Hand Vibrato 4021, semi-hollow body, electric guitar with 2 pickups in black circa 1964 This is a Danelectro Hand Vibrato model 4021, double-cutaway, electric guitar. It was made in Neptune New Jersey circa 1964. It has a black finish with two pickups. The neck is straight and all the electronics work properly. This is a very nice playing Danelectro guitar which will be appreciated mainly by players. But a collectors might want to restore it to it original condition which is just a matter of replacing the tuners, one strap pin, and the tremolo mechanism. The guitar is identical to the 3021 Jimmy Page played in the live Led Zep shows with the exception of the vibrato (missing) and the "batwing" headstock. It includes a gig bag.Description from VintageSilvertones.com

CONDITION:
Very clean, finish has the usual nicks and minor dings of a forty year old guitar. The bridge has very minor pitting. White tolex binding in good shape. The tremolo arm and mechanism have been removed. So it is now a fixed bridge.Description from VintageSilvertones.com

2 x 2 Kluson Deluxe closed back, vintage-style tuners with plastic keys, in very good working order.

NECK:
Batwing headstock, bolt-on, straight neck with dot inlays on rosewood fretboard, 21 frets, and 25" scale. Frets are in good condition. The back of the neck has playing wear. The headstock has playing wear and is missing the original strap pin at the very end. The headstock has beautiful raised letter Danelectro logo in extremely good condition.

PICKUPS:
