This is a black, 1960 Silvertone electric guitar made by Danelectro. The serial number is 4100 so it was made the 41st week of 1960. I believe it to be 100% original. This is the same guitar as the Danelectro U1. It has one lipstick pick up, "dolphin" headstock, a three way pick up control that varies the sound from muted to bright, and the tone & volume controls. The guitar is in great shape. The neck is straight and the electronics work. The guitar was just set up; so the action is now nice and fast. There's a few minor things to note: there is some crazing (finish cracks but they don't go into the wood) both on the body and the neck but you'll never notice them unless you look close. There's a few belt scratches on the back. This guitar includes the original case which is in very clean condition.
