SILVERTONE 1443 BASS
circa 1967

Silvertone 1443 electric bass guitar made by Danelectro of Neptune New Jersey, two pickup, solid body, black, masonite body, 2 lipstick pickups, circa 1967 This is a Silvertone 1443, solid body, electric bass guitar made by Danelectro circa 1967. It has a red-to-blackburst finish with two lipstick pickups. It was made in Neptune New Jersey. It's far more rare than the single pickup models.

The bass is in great condtion for being forty years old! The neck is straight with pretty fast action. The neck is a bolt on with two steel adjustment rods and 22 frets. The electronics all work correctly. The tuners are 100% original, very heavy duty, and work excellently. It has minor nicks and playing wear on the back of the neck and body. But overall, it's in very clean shape. This bass guitar feels great and sounds incredible. Overall it's a 9 out of 10; purely for cosmetic reasons.

The 1443 solid body basses were some of the last Danelectros made. These solid bodies were offered from 1966 to 1968 by Sears. If you're a player or collector this is the one you've always wanted! It comes with the original hardshell case. One of the latches is missing on the case; otherwise it's in very good shape.
