Kay Swingmaster K673, triple Gold "K" Kleenex Box pickups, hollow body, circa 1962 made in Chicago USAThis is a very nice Kay Swingmaster model K673, triple pickup, electric guitar with a tobaccoburst finish. It's got a great range of sounds from the extremely strong Gold "K" "Kleenex Box" pickups. Overall, it's probably more of a players guitar but collectors will appreciate it too. The guitar Includes a new gig bag. From

Thinline, two inch deep, single-cutaway with a tobaccoburst finish on front and black on back. Curly Maple-laminated body. Finish has crazing (finish cracks) on front and back. None of the cracks go into the wood. Paint is worn and chipped off in various places. Overall, it's very good condition with a nice antiqued finish. The body is fully bound with a super nice checkboard binding; a very nice detail. Inside the body is stamped: "P3"; which might imply three pickups. The actual model number is a K673 Swingmaster. This guitar sounds nice both electrified and unplugged. From

Generally, the guitar is 100% original. The jack may have been replaced but it's hard to tell; either way it's in good working order. The bridge maybe be a replacement or possibly just the gold turning screws. It's possible it's original also. From

Grover tuners, in good working order. The only exception is the G tuner is slightly loose but works fine. The headstock has a nice metal Kay logo. From
