This is a very cool and somewhat rare, Silvertone 1488 solid body, triple pickup, electric guitar with a cherry red finish. It's got a great range of sounds from the DeArmond pickups. It will go from a surf/country twang to heavy rock and even has a smooth mellow sound with all three pickups on that will cut it for jazz. It's model after the Jaguars. CONDITION:
Very clean, 8 out of 10, 100% original, finish has some paint wear on edge of body along with some minor dings along with general wear. Pick guard has a few small pieces missing at tips (see photo for details).

TUNERS:
All original, in good working order. Headstock had some extra holds drilled into it; which are now filled.

NECK:
Bolt-on, straight, fully bound (binding has yellowed slightly), mother of pearl inlays on rosewood fretboard, 20 frets, and 24" scale. Frets are in good condition with lots of life left in them.

PICKUPS:
Three DeArmonds that give a great surf or heavy rock sound but could work for a varity of styles Neck pickup is very bright, rich, and loud with a bite Middle pickup is bright but kind of twangy and loud Neck pickup is very twangy and loud Overall pickups work and sound excellent. All three together are very jazzy sounding One volume control for all pickups and three individual tone controls All electronic work properly Pickup on/off rockers switches are slightly stiff but work fine

Vibrato in good working order. Includes original case which is in good condition (see photos) but does have some wear and a couple of tears.
