SILVERTONE MODEL: JUPITER - 1423L
STRATOTONE - circa 1963 - HARMONY
This is a 1963 (circa) Silvertone electric guitar made by Harmony of Chicago. It's similar to a Les Paul but a semi-hollow body. So it's very light. The finish is a black sparkle. This guitar was part of Harmony's Stratotone line. It has DeArmond pick ups, mother-of-pearl inlays on neck, and the "Blender" control which regulates the bass and treble pick ups. This guitar is 100% original.Description from VintageSilvertones.com
This Silvertone Jupiter is in good condition. It does have some crazing and some nicks. The Silvertone logo on the headstock was broken at some point so the "S" was glued back on. It was just set up with fast action so it's ready to play. The neck straight. All the electronics work correctly. While this is in nice condition it's probably more of a players guitar versus a collectors based on the general finish wear. It includes a good quality gig bag.Description from VintageSilvertones.com
