This is a Silvertone electric guitar made by Danelectro. The guitar has a black sparkle finish and a Masonite over pine construction. It is part of the amp-in-case line but this guitar does NOT include the amp-in-case. It has two lipstick tube-style pickups, a four-way adjustable chromed brass bridge with a Brazilian rosewood saddle, a metal nut, and a Brazilian rosewood fretboard on a poplar neck. The 1449 has a slightly different pick-guard and is far more rare than the 1457, it's cousin. This model was only offered for one year: 1963. After that, the model was modified slightly and only available in red, making this model very rare. This guitar is in good condition with only a few minor scrapes to the finish as one would expect for a guitar over 50 years old. 100% original, it still feels great under your fingers and it sounds fantastic. Get this rare beauty now before someone else does!
